Entire Film Shot at Night Amid Snakes and Scorpions in Tikri Forest, Located in Gonda District, 30 km from Ayodhya

Thriller films have always enjoyed a special appeal among audiences, and when combined with a strong musical score, they become even more engaging. The trailer of actor-turned-producer Rohit Rajawat’s Hindi thriller film “Dear Husband” was launched in Mumbai amidst much excitement.

Produced under the banner of Shooting Sense, the film is directed by Dharmendra Kumar, while Ajit Goswami has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 25, 2026, with A One Cine Creation Production, headed by Balkishan Srivastava , handling its all-India distribution.

The film stars Ajit Goswami, Purnima Sharma, Rohit Rajawat, Dharmendra Kumar, Bishwajit Maity, and Satish Tripathi in key roles. The music has been composed by Rohit Dubey, Jai Mehta, Devrath Sharma, and Abhay Tyagi.

The trailer presents a gripping story woven with drama, action, suspense, and music. Three songs from the film were also showcased during the launch and received an enthusiastic response. One Holi-themed song beautifully portrays emotional relationships, while “Kho Jana” is a soulful romantic track. Another song, “Rang Tera,” set against the backdrop of Holi, captures a sweet and colorful love story.

Speaking about the film, producer and actor Rohit Rajawat said:

“This is my first feature film as a producer, although I have previously produced web series. It is a unique film, and my character is quite unconventional. The entire film was shot in Uttar Pradesh, and most members of the team are from the state. While many of the actors are new, they are well-trained performers. Our lead actress Purnima Sharma has considerable experience in films. This is a sincere effort by a team of passionate artists, and I hope audiences appreciate it.”

The story revolves around a simple young man from a small town who falls in love with a girl named Siya. He promises her that he will move to the city, find a job, and return once he is settled. Siya waits faithfully despite her father’s constant taunts that the boy has abandoned her. Eventually, around the time of Holi, he secures a job, but what follows is an unexpected twist that transforms the narrative into a gripping thriller.

Director Dharmendra Kumar said:

“Completing this film required relentless effort and dedication. The story is about how a young man struggles against difficult circumstances to protect a precious symbol of love shared between two people.”

Writer and actor Ajit Goswami added:

“The film explores how an innocent village boy gets trapped by criminals and finds himself in extraordinary circumstances. Since I have written the script myself, I have complete faith in the story. It is a survival thriller in which an ordinary man risks his life to confront dangerous criminals. The film is packed with emotion, drama, action, and suspense. We shot in the real Tikri Forest of Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh, mostly at night. During the 30-day shooting schedule, we probably slept only around 60 hours in total.”

Actor Satish Tripathi, who plays a police inspector in the film, described the shoot as extremely challenging.

“We filmed in the jungle amidst the danger of snakes and scorpions. Almost every night around 2 or 2:30 a.m., the lights would suddenly go off. It felt as if there was something mysterious about that place. It was a thrilling and unforgettable adventure.”

Dear Husband is set to release in cinemas on September 25, 2026, and producer-actor Rohit Rajawat is eagerly looking forward to presenting the film to audiences.
